You will need:
Bread Flour 1000g
Mauripan Yeast 15g
Sugar 10g
Sugar 100g (powdered)
Warm milk 200g
Salt 17g
Water 400-415g
Butter 80g (melted and cooled)
Eggs 03 Nos.
Here’s how to:
1. Mix 10g sugar with warm milk and yeast and keep aside for 10 minutes until it froths.
2. Add bread flour, powdered sugar and salt to a bowl and mix with a wooden spoon.
3. Add egg, water, yeast mixture (prepared in step 01) & melted butter to the above mentioned dry mix and combine well with wooden spoon. The texture of the mixture will be similar to a thick muffin batter. Not pourable, but thick and sticky.
4. Rest the dough approximately 2 hours until double in size. Resting time enables the Mauripan Yeast to ferment the dough and let it rise.
5. Shape them as desired. Dust flour to avoid stickiness.
6. Rest until double the size.
7. Bake for 12-15 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 190-200⁰C.
8. Unload from oven and apply butter on surface.
